Brace for breezes and beachy vibes


Get ready for a whimsical weather adventure! Today's forecast calls for mainly sunny skies, but brace yourself for scattered clouds rolling in by afternoon.

Winds will start light but ramp up to a breezy 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale, swirling southwest to northwest. If you're headed to the beach, expect a bit of choppy seas turning progressively turbulent. Temperatures will soar to a toasty 28 degrees Celsius inland, around 26 along the southern and eastern coasts, dipping to a cooler 24 along the western and northern shores, and a brisk 21 in the higher elevations.

Tonight's outlook? Mostly clear, but don't be surprised by sporadic low clouds, especially in the wee hours. Fog may even make a guest appearance, primarily inland and to the east. Winds will remain gentle to moderate, averaging 3 to 4 Beaufort, with occasional gusts reaching a robust 5. Seas will stay slightly choppy to choppy. As for temperatures, expect a dip to 11 degrees Celsius inland, around 16 along the southern and eastern coasts, hitting 19 along the western and northern shores, and plummeting to a chilly 10 in the higher elevations.

Looking ahead to Friday, anticipate intermittent cloud cover, while Saturday brings partly cloudy skies with isolated showers. Sunday might see scattered clouds at times. Temperature-wise, Friday will see a slight drop, while Saturday and Sunday are expected to maintain a steady course, hovering above seasonal averages.
