In the period spanning from November 5, 2021, to June 19, 2023, a total of 1,704 "citizenships" were granted with the approval of the ''Ministry of Interior'', according to the Dursun Oguz. This information was reported by Kibris.

Oguz, speaking before the "parliament," mentioned that 3,887 individuals acquired citizenship due to their spouses and children under the existing citizenship law.

Additionally, the ''minister'' provided statistics on various types of permits granted during the same period:

- "Residence permits in the high-income category" were issued to 8,313 individuals.
- "Residence permits in the real estate category" were granted to 5,453 people.
- "Residence permits in the humanitarian category" were given to 145 individuals.
- A total of 33,542 individuals were granted "residence permits."
- Furthermore, 124,632 individuals received "work permits."

''Minister'' Oguz emphasized ongoing efforts to prevent the misuse of the "right of nationality" for various purposes and underscored the goal of establishing a simplified and enforceable "regulation" in this context.

He also pointed out that the number of detainees in 'central prisons' has exceeded 900.
