The weather forecast for Cyprus presents a day of changing conditions, with clear skies to start and the possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms later in the day.

Later in the day, the chance of showers and thunderstorms extends inland and to the east. Winds in the morning will predominantly blow from the northeast to the southeast and are expected to be light to moderate, with a rating of 3 Beaufort. By the afternoon, the winds will shift mainly to the southwest and northwest, still maintaining a light to moderate intensity, ranging from 3 to 4 Beaufort. As for the sea, it will remain relatively calm to slightly rough.
In terms of temperatures, expect a high of around 31 degrees Celsius inland, approximately 29 degrees on the coast, and around 20 degrees in the elevated mountain areas.
As evening approaches, the skies are forecasted to become mostly clear, with some partially cloudy spells in coastal areas. The winds will subside to a light 3 Beaufort. The sea conditions will remain calm to slightly rough. The temperature is expected to drop to approximately 17 degrees Celsius inland, around 19 degrees on the coast, and about 11 degrees in the higher mountainous regions.
On Friday, expect the day to commence with mainly clear skies, but clouds will gradually accumulate, increasing the chances of isolated showers and thunderstorms. However, temperatures are not anticipated to undergo significant changes.
Moving into the weekend, Saturday brings the possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly during the midday hours and beyond, with a focus on mountainous areas, the northern region, and the interior. Again, temperatures are not expected to show remarkable fluctuations.
On Sunday, the weather is forecasted to be predominantly cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms in the mix. Furthermore, temperatures are projected to dip below the seasonal average climatic values.
