Wiz Guide presents the “30 Best Bars Cyprus,” an evening dedicated to innovation, creativity, and quality in entertainment. On July 6, 2026, Cyprus will host for the first time an institution designed to recognize and reward excellence in hospitality and modern bar culture.
The awards event for the country’s 30 best bars will take place at the ETKO venue in Limassol, transforming it into a hub for industry professionals and cocktail lovers alike.
Aiming to spotlight the top bars in the country, the evaluation process is based on strict international standards, ensuring credibility and transparency. Heading the judging panel is Denny Kallivoka, journalist, strategic consultant, and co-owner of howtobar.com, one of the most respected figures in the cocktail and spirits industry.
For the event, Wiz is also bringing to Cyprus two of the most influential personalities in the global bar industry, Sandrae Lawrence and Gary Sharpen, founders of the internationally renowned brand The Cocktail Lovers.
The judging panel is completed by Panayiotis Diogenous, a UK-based spirits industry professional; Yiannos Ioannou, Creative & Communications Director of the SppMedia Group; and Michalis Michailidis, Editor-in-Chief of Wizguide.
Judges from Greece and Cyprus have already begun anonymously visiting and evaluating bars across the island. The panel is also supported by a number of recognized mystery guests.
As part of the awards, the 7th Cyprus Cocktail Festival will also take place, with the 10 winning bars serving their signature cocktails to the public. The evening will conclude with a major after-party hosted by Deejay Radio 93.5, offering a complete experience of taste, music, and entertainment.
