Newsroom
Good news: it feels a bit warmer than last week. Bad news: it’s still Monday, and the weather is dragging its feet just like the rest of us. At least there’s no rain to grumble about for now, so we can enjoy a slightly more cheerful atmosphere while we shuffle through the day.
Today, expect mostly clear skies, though southern areas might gather a few clouds this afternoon—probably just to annoy us. Winds will be northwest to northeast, weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with southwestern areas keeping things quieter at 3 Beaufort. The sea’s in a decent mood, mostly calm to slightly rough, except for the east, where it’s feeling a bit testy. Temperatures will climb to 19°C inland, 20°C along the coast, and a crisp 9°C in the higher mountains—not quite toasty, but at least it’s not last week’s chill.
Tonight, the skies will stay mostly clear because even the clouds can’t be bothered to show up. Winds will blow lightly from the northwest to northeast, with the occasional nudge to moderate along the southeast coast. The sea will stick with its calm-to-slightly-rough routine, keeping the east on the rougher side. Overnight temperatures will drop to 5°C inland, 9°C along the southeastern, eastern, and western coasts, and a frosty 2°C in the mountains, where frost will remind us winter’s not done yet.
Looking ahead, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday promise clear skies with a few high clouds on Tuesday. Temperatures will hold steady—nothing dramatic, but with no rain around, it’s starting to feel a bit more bearable. Hang in there—at least the weather’s not the worst part of Monday!
