The EMB-135LR, touted as Cyprus' Air Force 1, is ready for delivery. The presidential aircraft was gifted to Cyprus by the Hellenic Republic as a token of appreciation for Cyprus' help in fighting the devastating fires in Mati in 2018.

The donation of the aircraft was officially announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during a press conference at the Presidential Palace in Cyprus a few months ago when he was on an official visit to the country.

This specific EMB-135LR aircraft will serve the transportation needs of the President of the Republic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and possibly the Speaker of the Parliament. It is billed as a VIP (VIP) aircraft with a capacity of 32 passengers.
