Visitors to Athalassa Park in the capital were met with a disturbing sight on Friday, as dozens of dead fish were found washed ashore in various areas of the park.
In a video shared by Christoforos Tornaritis, the lifeless fish can be seen scattered along the banks. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. Similar cases were reported in 2018 and 2020.
A team from the Forestry Department has been dispatched to the site to conduct inspections, according to reports.
