Elderly driver dies after fatal Paphos car crash

A 72-year-old UK national and permanent resident of Cyprus lost his life in a fatal car crash in the Paphos district

A 72-year-old UK national and permanent resident of Cyprus lost his life in a fatal car crash in the Paphos district on Wednesday.

According to the police, two vehicles crashed into each other in the Pikni area of Paphos, with two people getting transferred to hospital via ambulance.

Despite all efforts, doctors were not able to save the 72-year-old, while the second driver was seriously injured.

Police are examining the scene of the crash to determine the causes.
