The Independent Social Support Body, chaired by First Lady Philippa Karcera Christodoulides, has announced a supplementary application process for student assistance for the 2023-2024 academic year. This initiative is part of the agency's ongoing commitment to ensuring that no student is left behind due to financial constraints.
Eligible students, whose families have a gross income not exceeding €25,000 for up to two dependent children and €30,000 for three dependent children, are encouraged to apply. The application window is open from July 2 to July 10, 2024, and can be accessed online through the official website of the Independent Social Support Agency at www.socialsupport.gov.cy.
First Lady Philippa Karcera Christodoulides and the Independent Social Support Body are dedicated to helping students whose families may struggle to afford higher education. This supplementary process is designed to extend financial aid to more students by adjusting the eligibility criteria, ensuring broader access to education.
Students who have previously applied for the 2023-2024 academic year and were denied due to income criteria, but now meet the revised thresholds, are not required to submit a new application. These students will receive an invitation to confirm their interest via an email from supportbody2@presidency.gov.cy on July 5 and July 8, 2024.
This supplementary application process underscores the agency's dedication to supporting the educational aspirations of all students. Don’t miss this opportunity to secure the assistance needed to pursue your academic goals. For further information and to apply, visit the agency’s website today.
