Greek air traffic controllers to strike, disrupting flights

National strike prompts suspension of air travel on February 28

Newsroom / CNA

Air travel disruptions are anticipated in Greece on Wednesday, February 28, as the Greek Air Traffic Controllers' Association joins the nationwide strike organized by ADEDY.

Pending the controllers' mobilization and the absence of an appeal from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), all flights to and from Greek airports on that day, except those permitted by existing legal regulations, will be suspended.

The limited operations will only include air transport-related flights, special flights, and overflights.

Travelers with scheduled flights on that day are advised to stay informed about potential changes to their travel plans.
