There was a "disagreement" between UN soldiers and the security forces in the Deremboyou area of Nicosia, which is on the occupied side of the Pediaion. According to the security forces' spokesperson, this disagreement has now been resolved.
The Yeni Dusen website, referring to information it received from the security forces' command, reports that there was a "conflict" with the peacekeepers while they were cleaning the Ibrahim Latif military unit. The issue has been resolved, as stated by a spokesperson from the security forces' press office. However, they did not confirm reports of a soldier being injured on the Turkish side.
