Limassol community raises over 20,000 euros for Dao's vandalized business

Online fundraisers emerge to rebuild Dao's business

In Limassol, a local woman named Dao found herself at the center of a community outpouring of support after her business was vandalized by unidentified individuals wearing hoods. Deputy Minister of Social Welfare Marilena Evangelou has reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to assisting Dao's family with her immediate requirements.

In addition to official help, members of the community have launched online fundraising campaigns to aid Dao in the restoration of her damaged business. These collective efforts have already garnered an impressive sum, exceeding 20 thousand euros in donations. The widespread attention to Dao's plight was amplified by a viral video showing her tearfully witnessing the destruction of her business, which has since gained significant traction on the internet.
