The weather outlook for Nicosia and its surrounding regions promises clear skies and a gradual increase in temperatures in the coming days.
Today, residents can expect mostly clear conditions with shifting winds. Initially, winds will blow from the northeast to the southeast at a moderate 3 Beaufort, later veering to a mainly southwest to northwest direction with a moderate intensity of 3 to 4 Beaufort during the afternoon. While the sea will remain relatively calm, there might be a slight increase in turbulence, particularly in the western areas. The mercury is forecasted to rise to around 35 degrees in the interior, approximately 33 degrees on the southern and eastern coasts, about 31 degrees on the remaining coasts, and roughly 26 degrees in the higher mountain regions.
As night falls, the weather will continue to be mostly clear. Winds will predominantly originate from the northwest to northeast, occasionally with weak southeasterly winds of 3 Beaufort along the north coast. The sea is expected to remain calm, with minimal turbulence. Temperatures will dip to approximately 18 degrees in the interior, around 20 degrees on the coast, and about 16 degrees in the higher mountainous terrain.
Looking ahead to the weekend, residents can anticipate predominantly clear weather, maintaining the pleasant conditions. Monday, too, will see mostly clear skies, with the possibility of temporary increased cloudiness during the afternoon.
In the coming days, temperatures are set to gradually rise, surpassing the climate averages by Sunday. Monday is not expected to bring any significant temperature changes.
