Paphos will host the Pafos International Street Festival from August 26 to September 1, showcasing street performers from around the world. The festival, inspired by popular European street arts festivals, will feature daily performances from 20 international artists across seven locations along the Paphos seafront and two squares in Ktima.
Running each evening from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., the event will include up to 28 performances daily, making it one of the largest cultural events ever held in Cyprus. Performers will include Paul Morocco & Olé from the U.S., Schuberth & Kapeller from Austria, Domenyk La Terra from Australia, Kwabana Lindsay from the U.K., and Duo Santus from France.
Highlights will include Coney Pickett’s “Silent Show,” a high-energy, mime-based circus performance, and Domenyk’s “Juggling Dom - Street Show,” featuring impressive juggling and quick humor. Duo Santus will present their circus act, blending tradition and innovation, while Schuberth & Kapeller will dazzle with a combination of dance, acrobatics, and fire arts.
Richart Handley’s show, "Going Bananas," will offer a humorous critique of modern phone addiction through clowning and audience participation.
All performances are free, with attendees encouraged to make voluntary contributions to the performers. The festival, supported by the Pafos Municipality and local sponsors, will also feature a special fundraising event on August 31 at the Baths, supporting the Paphos Cancer Support Group, followed by a party with DJ Hadjimike.
