Rainy weather coming as week ends

There is a chance of rain Friday afternoon, while dust and cloudy skies could remain over Cyprus through Sunday.

Evening temperatures will drop down to 19° Celsius inland as well as all coastal regions while it will be around 16° up in the mountains.

Saturday will begin with partly cloudy skies with a chance of light rain showers in local areas. But in the afternoon, clouds are expected to increase with a chance of rain showers and even isolated thunderstorms in the forecast.

Maximum temperatures will reach 32° Celsius inland, around 28° on the eastern and southern coasts, 26° int eh rest of the coastal regions, and 23° up in the mountains.

Sunday is expected to be mostly clear during the first part of the day but later towards late morning and early afternoon there is a chance of isolated thunderstorms, mainly at higher elevations.

Dust in the atmosphere is expected to clear by Sunday.

Monday and Tuesday there will be mostly clear weather punctuated by afternoon clouds and possibl rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly inland and on the mountains.

Temperatures are expected to dip slightly Monday and remain the same Tuesday.
