Unstable weather conditions are affecting Cyprus on Wednesday, with periods of sunshine punctuated by cloudy skies and pop-up showers including thunderstorms.
Mixed conditions are expected Wednesday with periods of sunshine and cloud formations, with morning showers and storms out west later expanding across the island including isolated thunderstorms.
Strong winds are expected during heavy thunderstorms when variable wind direction could change rapidly.
Temperature highs will reach 18 degrees Celsius inland and along the coast, while it will be 8 high up in the mountains.
Evening skies gradually will become mostly clear with on and off increasing clouds over local areas, while chances of showers and thunderstorms could develop later in coastal areas mianly in the north and out west.

Temperature lows will drop to 6 degrees in the interior, around 9 in coastal areas, while it will be zero (0) higher up where frost is expected to form overnight.
