Traffic cams to begin recording next week

In which intersections will these cameras be activated?

More traffic cams will be activated at intersections around the island, the Cyprus Police Department has announced.  

The traffic cameras that have already been installed at the intersections of Limassol Avenue & Armenias and Prodromou Avenue & Griva Digenis in Nicosia will be activated on Monday, March 6, 2023. At the same time, four more mobile cameras will be deployed throughout the country.

Furthermore, the cameras installed at the intersections of Archbishop Makarios Avenue & Nikos Pattihis Avenue in Limassol, as well as Archbishop Makarios Avenue & Agia Zoni Avenue, will be operational by the end of March 2023. Four additional mobile cameras will also be activated in the Limassol area.

In addition, cameras will be installed at two other Nicosia intersections around mid-April 2023. One is at the intersection of Strovolos Avenue & Machairas Street, and the other is at the intersection of Makarios Avenue & Spyrou Kyprianou/Digeni Akrita Avenue. Moreover, four additional mobile cameras will be operational, and they will be used throughout the country.
