Cypriot MP Rita Theodorou Superman will represent the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly at the UN International Conference on the Protection of Victims of Terrorism and the Promotion of their Rights and Needs, that will take place in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, under the theme: "Education as a tool for prevention, peace-building and empowerment of victims of terrorism".
According to House press release, the Conference will take place on October 8 and 9 and is organised by the UN Office for the Fight against Terrorism (UNOCT) in cooperation with the Kingdom of Spain.
Superman will attend it in her capacity as Special Rapporteur of the Convention on Combating Terrorism and Organised Crime, the press release concluded.
