Weekend forecast: Let's give this another shot

We’ve heard your complaints – apparently, predicting the weather is harder than it looks! So, let’s see if we can actually nail it this weekend: expect mostly clear skies, some clouds popping by to say hello, and a nice cooldown by Monday. Fingers crossed!

Today’s looking mostly clear, but those sneaky clouds are already plotting a cameo appearance, starting in the west before making their way to other parts. Winds will also be showing off, starting light at 3 to 4 Beaufort, then cranking it up to 5 or even 6 on the southwest coast. It might be the perfect excuse to give your hat that day off.

Temperatures? We’ve got the classic summer lineup: 34°C inland, around 33°C on the southeast and east coast, and a cooler 30-31°C elsewhere along the shore. If you're in the mountains, you're winning with a breezy 26°C.

Tonight, things calm down (finally). Skies stay mostly clear, with a few clouds still lurking in the west. Winds will dial back to a gentle breeze, perfect for an evening stroll.

Looking ahead, Saturday gives us a slight temperature boost, but by Monday, things cool off a bit, dropping just below average. So, get ready for a weekend of sunshine, occasional clouds, and a little breeze—hopefully just right for your plans.
