A cold front is moving away from the area over Cyprus, with Monday skies getting periods of sunshine while chances of afternoon showers and cloudy days ahead also remain in the picture.
Monday weather will be mixed with periods of sunshine but also cloud formations expected throughout the day, along with chances of local showers around noon and in the afternoon mainly in the mountains and in the southern half of the island.
Temperature highs will reach 18 degrees Celsius inland, south, and east, around 19 in all other coastal regions, while it will be 8 degrees high up in the mountains, where there also chances of scattered snow.
Evening skies will be mostly clear with temperature lows dropping to 5 degrees inland, around 8 along the coast, and one degree below zero (-1) high up in the mountains, where frost is expected to form overnight.
Tuesday weather will be mostly clear but early and late afternoon skies will be cloudy in the mountains and in the eastern half of the island. Overall temperatures will rise primarily in the interior and mountain areas, with levels staying below normal averages for this time of the year.
Wednesday skies will be mostly clear but increasing cloud formations are also expected in the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to rise and reach above normal levels by Thursday, when the morning will start with mid-level cloud formations but mostly clear weather is expected later in the day.
