A South Korean filmmaker has chosen Cyprus as one of the locations for its latest production.
They are very happy with the prospects and locations that Cyprus has to offer and are excited to start shooting
Alexander Papakosta and Ivan Knezevic, who run a film production company in Cyprus, have been consulting in recent months with the South Korean production company to shoot the film in Cyprus, according to a statement from the Cyprus Film Production Services Company.
As both said, Cyprus is a great location for filmmaking and the film industry is still young. However, Cyprus offers excellent opportunities and also possesses talents in the industry, they added.
They expressed their satisfaction in the company's decision, as well as the support offered by hotels in Limassol as well as the Municipality of Limassol. Production managers of the company have been in Cyprus for the last two weeks checking out locations.
"They are very happy with the prospects and locations that Cyprus has to offer and are excited to start shooting," they added.
The director of the film has chosen areas in the old city of Limassol and Agia Fyla.
