President Nicos Anastasiades took to twitter to mark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
He said, "As we mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11, a milestone not only for the United States but for the world as a whole, it is important that we renew our determination in the global fight against terrorism and radicalization."
He added that, "our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims, as we also remember the selfless heroism of the firefighters, police and doctors, who rushed to the scene of the terrorist attacks."
