"The 14 vultures that recently arrived from Spain are patiently awaiting their release," according to a statement from the Cyprus Bird Association.

Meanwhile, they're getting to know the area and the vultures who frequently visit the feeder next to the acclimatization cage.

"We know from similar population support programs that the minimum length of stay in the acclimatization cage for better chances of survival after release is about 6 months." So we count 180 days (give or take) until their release..." The statement, which is accompanied by a video, also reads.
