The operator of City of Dreams Mediterranean hopes to triple its staff before launching next year in Cyprus, while a recent video shows progress on the construction of the unique casino resort sitting in the middle of three continents.
A recent video with aerial footage shows impressive images of the City of Dreams Mediterranean, a resort being constructed by Melco Cyprus, which is holding a recruiting fair on Friday.
The company issued a statement earlier this week saying it was hoping to reach a total of 2500 employees in the coming months, an increase more than threefold with most workers being locals.
Earlier this month Lawrence Ho Yau Lung, a casino entrepreneur who is behind the largest and premier integrated destination resort in Europe, said the City of Dreams Mediterranean was “on track” to open in the second half of 2022.
According to a Melco Cyprus statement, the number of employees is expected to reach 2500 in the coming months, while the construction phase of the casino resort was previously estimated to create approximately 4000 local job opportunities.
The pioneering structure, situated on prime land in Limassol’s Zakaki area overlooking the sea port, will feature fifteen floors and a five-star hotel with more than 500 luxury guest rooms and suites, while some 30,000 square feet of conference space will be available for all sort of business meetings and symposiums.
