Body of Russian female spotted in the water in Paphos a day after daughter in Limassol reported mother as missing

Police went on high alert Tuesday morning after a body was spotted in the water off the Paphos coast in Timi area.
According to Kathimerini Cyprus, the body of a 45-year-old Russian woman was retrieved by police some 100 metres from the shoreline in Timi.
Initial reports said the woman was living in Limassol with her family while her daughter had filed a missing person report with police a day earlier.
The body was taken to the morgue where a post mortem is to be conducted on Thursday.
