The overall projects, totaling almost €620 million, are outlined in the Ministry of Internal Affairs Budget.

According to the presentation to the Economic Committee, the projects aimed at improving residents' quality of life are nearly evenly split: €314.1 million for urban areas and €305.5 million for rural areas.

At the same time, the nine most significant developmental projects for 2024-2026 were presented.

The first project involves land stabilization works, "Lakes," in Pissouri, costing €20 million.

The second project focuses on the improvement/construction of Ippokratous and Argyroupoleos Avenues in Lakatamia and Strovolos, with a cost of €18.1 million.

Thirdly, there's the stormwater drainage plan for major city areas, costing €10.3 million.

The fourth project is the improvement of the coastal road Larnaca - Dhekelia Phase C, with a cost of €9.8 million.

The fifth project concerns the primary road from Makario Athletic Center to the new Nicosia – Limassol – Alexandroupoli Avenue, costing €9.3 million.

The sixth project involves the improvement of the road connecting Deryneia to Sotira, costing €7.3 million.

Seventh project focuses on parking area development in the core of Paralimni, costing €5 million.

Eighth project is the upgrade of the traditional core in the Municipality of Yeroskipou, costing €3.1 million.

Ninth project involves the construction of a coastal promenade in the Municipality of Peyia – Phase A, costing €3 million.
