Winds and showers dance across the region

Partly cloudy with a chance of showers

Newsroom

In the latest forecast, a gentle low-pressure system is making its mark on the region.

Today's weather brings a mix of clouds and isolated showers, primarily in the western areas and mountainous regions. Expect light to moderate southwest to northwest winds, reaching up to a strong 5 Beaufort on the southern coast by the afternoon.

While the sea starts relatively calm, it will gradually gain some chop in the foreshore. Temperature-wise, inland areas will reach around 20 degrees, coastal regions at approximately 22 degrees, and higher mountain areas hovering around 10 degrees.

As evening descends, the weather remains partly cloudy, with isolated showers lingering, especially in elevated terrains. Winds continue their southwest to northwest trajectory, maintaining a light to locally moderate 4 Beaufort.

The sea will transition from slightly rough to choppy waters. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop, reaching 8 degrees inland, 13 on the west coast, around 10 along the rest of the coast, and a cool 4 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Looking ahead, Friday and the weekend are on the horizon with partly cloudy conditions and intermittent showers possible. Despite the weather fluctuations, temperatures will stay within a range above climatic averages. Stay tuned for more updates on this mild weather pattern.
