A 56-year-old man was let out on parole after being accused of killing a dog with a trap.
Michael Nicolaou, the spokesperson for the Pafos CID, mentioned that the 56-year-old man had a court appearance in front of the Pafos District Court last Wednesday, where he faced charges.

According to Mr. Nicolaou, on Sunday at 19:30, a 30-year-old woman reported to Stubiu police station that she found her dog dead due to a trap.
Following investigations by the Paphos Police, Mr. Nicolaou informed CNA that evidence was collected against a 56-year-old man who had allegedly set up an illegal wire trap, resulting in the unfortunate death of the woman's dog.
