The President of the Democratic Rally party (DISY) Averof Neophytou expressed his full support and assistance to the people of Ukraine during a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine Ruslan Nimchynsky.
"Cyprus, as a country that has been invaded and occupied by Turkey, will help the troubled Ukrainian people," said Mr. Neophytou, according to a statement issued by DISY.
The focus of the meeting, he added, was about the tragic developments in Ukraine after the Russian invasion.
According to the announcement, Mr. Neophytou said, "As part of DISY, we remain on the side of the Ukrainian people and declare our readiness to provide any help and assistance," the President of the DISY told the Ukrainian Ambassador.
