Crete hosts Medusa 9 military exercise

Defence Minister attends military exercise jointly held by Greek, Cypriot, Egyptian armies

Cyprus Defence Minister Savvas Angelides attended with his counterparts Nikos Panagiotopoulos (Greece) and Mohamed Ahmed Zaki (Egypt) the trilateral aeronautical military exercise “Medusa 9”, which took place in Crete, on Wednesday, November 6.

After the completion of the exercise, Angelides congratulated the participants of the Armed Forces of the three countries for their high level of training, professionalism and operational capacity, as well as for their cooperation.

Soldiers practiced a beach landing during the Medusa 9 military training exercise.
