Some people were left hanging when they were banned from entering several business premises despite the fact that they presented a valid Safepass.
According to CNA news, the Covscan app, used to upload covid vaccination certificates, certificates of recovery or rapid/PCR tests, suffered glitches due to an overwhelming amount of rapid test results being uploaded into the system.
Needless to say, some people were quite annoyed when their QR code was not recognized when scanned.
The Ministry of Research and Innovation is looking into the problem and efforts are being made to upgrade the platform.
