Perdios will oversee the establishment of the Deputy Ministry for Tourism

Savvas Perdios will be the first Deputy Minister for Tourism.

In a written statement, Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou says that the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades announces the appointment of Savvas Perdios as Deputy Minister for Tourism.

The official ceremony will take place at the Presidential Palace on the 2nd of January.

It is stated that Savvas Perdios, who has university studies in Finance and Accounting (University of Warwick) as well as in Hotel Management, has professional experience in major international organizations of the tourism industry.

He will undertake the establishment of the Deputy Ministry for Tourism beginning of next year, as well as the implementation of the National Strategy on Tourism, the planning of the development of the tourism sector, as well as the overall political oversight of the sector.
