The recent commencement of work on the upgrade of the Nicosia Race Club by the University of Nicosia's School of Veterinary Medicine was announced on Wednesday by the academic institution, following the signing of an agreement last October between the School of Veterinary Medicine and Nicosia Race Club.
As noted, under the terms of the agreement, the School of Veterinary Medicine will manage the clinic, which will also serve as an educational and research center for the School.
It is added that this partnership aims to enhance the clinic's infrastructure and equipment, thereby improving the quality of care provided to horses. It is mentioned that the upgrade is expected to benefit the equine industry and contribute to the training of the veterinary students at the University of Nicosia.
Despite ongoing renovation work, the clinic will remain operational. The project is scheduled for completion by Autumn 2024, the press release concludes.
