UN Deputy Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo made very clear the UN Secretary-General's commitment to the Cyprus problem and its resolution "and to our efforts to move forward," she said after her hour-long meeting in the occupied territories with TC leader Ersin Tatar.
According to reports from the occupied territories, DiCarlo and Tatar discussed the Cyprus problem in depth and stressed the importance of strengthening the Technical Committees to work hard on a variety of issues "so that we can move forward."
She continued by expressing "deep and sincere condolences" for the loss of lives in the earthquakes in Turkey.
