Newsroom / CNA

Flights to and from Cyprus are continuing as usual, according to Cyprus' Government Spokesperson, Konstantinos Letymbiotis. Letymbiotis addressed and refuted online rumors suggesting the alleged closure of the country's airspace.

In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Letymbiotis stated, "Regarding rumors and posts on the internet about the alleged closure of Cyprus' airspace, the Cyprus Government clarifies that this does not correspond to reality and that flights to and from Cyprus run as usual."

This official statement aims to reassure travelers and stakeholders amid the spread of misinformation on social media platforms. Cyprus remains open to air travel, with no disruptions to flight schedules.
